After the ruckus here, the Fool has limped outside to sit outside in the moonlight. He drops heavily onto the grass and stares up at the sky.

His entire body aches and he's fairly certain that he's getting a nasty bruise on his face. He's surprised that nothing's broken. At least he doesn't think there's anything broken. He touches his face gingerly, hissing in pain. The Fool may be many things but he does wear a human form and that form can get hurt. (And even die, but he's not thinking about that.)

"Well," he says to the bar at large, "That was highly entertaining. I feel like I can sleep for a week or three."

"It would probably do you some good," mwrrs the small, white form that had followed him out into the darkness.

"Are you hurt?"

"I used up a lot of luck tonight," he admits. As to the second question he says, "I don't think anything is broken, I can talk well enough. It just hurts a lot."

"What did you use it to accomplish?" asks the cat that is not a cat, sitting beside the Fool with its tail coiled lightly around its paws.

He laughs. "Did you see the size of those boots with beer? Someone of my size would have to be insanely lucky not to get thrashed on the first one, much less three!"

There's a shake of his head followed by a hiss of pain. "I will probably be seriously hungover in the morning."

Yrael tilts his head. "That is true," he allows, after a moment.

But he would dispute whether it truly accomplished anything in the end.

"I can help with the pain, if you would want."

He accomplished not getting drunk and making a fool out of Red. The first is what he wanted the second was a bonus. While getting hit in the face wasn't on the agenda it is acceptable damage.

"Can you?" he asks. It feels like his face is starting to swell a little. Now that he's not concentrating on holding himself together, as it were, the body is taking control and doing what it does while injured. "How so?"

Yrael feels that the first would also have been accomplished had the Fool not accepted the challenge in which he needed his luck, in the first place.

"It is a human body the Fool wears, correct?" he says, sniffing Alexander's arm where it is nearest the not'cat.

"There are healing spells."

Yes but that would have been smart.

"Yes, it is," he affirms. "It is as human as ... a human is." That was a lame one. He's tired.

"Ah! I see!"

Of course it would've been smart. It is what Yrael would've done.

"Would you want them? They can also help with tomorrow's hangover."

But the Fool is the Fool and smart doesn't always come into play.

"Yes, I think so. I don't think it could hurt."
